The GFAA has committed to a new website to better serve us and those interested, with information about the activities of the association and its members.
The new website is much faster and easier to navigate, and functionality has been significantly improved. It's great to have a sound resource behind us.
Beginning with access to GFAA clubs, including ours, of which there are more than 80 across Australia, the contact details can be quickly accessed and can help people engage with those ones affiliated.
Junior Tournament contacts, logins, reports and standings are more intuitive and can be completed from a smartphone. Most importantly up-to-date records are also conveniently available via smartphones. And great resource when a quick reference check is needed, even when out on the water.
The complete GFAA Rules have been included and there is also a lot of historical information, particularly the useful Annual GFAA Journal and trophy awards for all GFAA categories.
A new feature is a 'Socials Wall' that gives you a one-page look at the latest Facebook, Instagram and Youtube social pages. Important for those looking to reamin in the know with recent fishing areas firing or looking to plan an upcoming trip.
Still to come are further updates on clubs featured planned and completed events, GFAA advocacy, research, educational videos and tips on fishing tricks.
Next time you have a little downtime, give it a visit. From a Club perspective it's great to see our Clubs and your annual affiliation fees being put to great use and supporting the Australian game fishing industry and those who fish in it.
