As a Victorian based game fishing Club, game fishing in our local waters appears to be going from strength to strength.

Be it good luck, good management or an uplift in fishing new areas and using new techniques, the opportunities to catch record breaking game fish in our southern state waters seems to be so rich these days.

It's periods like this that retaining, holding and utilising your Swordfish & Tunny Club Membership to fish waters in our Club's home state is a must. The chance to catch a record breaking fish or one that lands your name on one of prestigious trophies is very real. It's also imporant to keep the history of this wonderful Club and it's past members alive.

Current Club Membership Update: Season 2024-25

As we have it, our Club membership base remains constant (as it has for many years now). Across the 2024-25 season we had four new members join our heralded ranks and a few deciding to not continue. This places our membership numbers to 44 members (2 of which are honoury).

The Club welcomes the following new members:

Scott Crutchfield

Antony Osbourne

Sean King

Phil Marks

We suitably hope to see that they utilise and reach out to our highly experienced and knowledgable group for help, support and inspiration when it comes to game fishing (and for a good fishing story or three). For those members who have decided to cease thier membership we sincerely thank you for your support and wish you tight lines the next time you head out on the ocean or sea. Remember, you're always welcome back should that 'itch to fish' get too much or you need the support of like minded friends!

For all current members, should you know of any suitable people for the club and wish to nominate them, please contact new Club Secretary Mark Nan Tie on 0419 334 828 for an application form.

Notification of Captures

We wish to ensure that all fish captured or released are recorded and that our Club's outstanding trophies are worthily won. Could you please notify the Club of your captures and any Tag and Release details for the year ending 30th June 2025 so we can access and allocate trophy winners. Winners will be announced at the 2025 Annual Dinner.
